Charles Moran Jr.Chuck Moran is the president and chief operating officer of Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 50,000 employees, it is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.

Moran has been credited with the strategic and targeted growth of the company and its subsidiaries, which include industry leaders in food and retail operations at airports and professional sports venues, in sports facility ownership and management, and in gaming operations. During his tenure as president, the company has become known as one of the most innovative hospitality and food service companies in the world.

Moran joined Delaware North in 1992 as a vice president of finance, continuing a 20-year career that was distinguished by positions with four major financial institutions, including Liberty National Bank and Trust (now part of Fleet Bank), Goldome, Keybank and Marine Midland Bank.
 
While at Delaware North, Moran quickly established himself as a valuable member of the company’s leadership team, and in 1997, was promoted to president of CA One, the company’s airport hospitality company. He later moved into the role of chief financial officer for the company’s global operations, a position he held until assuming the presidency of Delaware North in 2004.
 
Active in community and industry associations, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.
