Scott Socha is vice president of finance and business development for Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, a subsidiary of Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 50,000 employees, Delaware North is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.

 

Socha has served as the vice president of finance for the company since 2004 and accepted business development duties in 2007. He directs all financial and account procedures, monitors financial operations and analyzes operational performance for Delaware North’s newest operating company, while evaluating new business opportunities and room for future growth.

 

Socha began his career with Delaware North in 1999 as a manager of financial planning and analysis for Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services. He transferred to Parks & Resorts in 2002 and has held positions of increasing responsibility ever since. Prior to joining Delaware North, Socha was employed by Delphi Automotive Systems and taught various accounting and finance courses at both the Jacobs School of Management at the University at Buffalo and Medaille College.

 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. John Fisher College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo.
