Australian Open – by the numbers with GM Matt Forsyth

The Australian Open Tennis Championship recently came to a close, with Delaware North’s team at Melbourne & Olympic Parks once again providing a world-class experience.
 
Matt Forsyth, Delaware North’s general manager at the venue, shared his post-Australian Open thoughts and gave a breakdown of the facts and figures.
 
“It truly was a career highlight and privilege to lead the 2,163-person strong Delaware North team to australianopenleaders-7193119deliver the most amazing hospitality across the retail, corporate and VIP areas of the 2016 Australian Open,” he said. “There is one word that comes to mind when I reflect on the lead up to and the execution of the tournament, and that is simply ‘commitment.’ From our senior management team to members of our other Australian sites that joined us and the casual workforce that really are the face of our operation to so many of the 720,000 strong crowd – all put in 100 percent commitment. So to each and every one of you – THANK YOU. We did it.”
