Patina Restaurant Group’s Morimoto Asia wins several awards

Morimoto Asia, the stunning new restaurant opened by Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group last September in Disney Springs, part of the Disney World Resort, recently garnered four 2016 OpenTable Diner’s Choice awards, which recognize outstanding restaurants based on feedback from thousands of diners.

Orlando and other Central Florida diners tabbed Morimoto Asia for awards in the “Best Ambiance,” “Hot morimoto-9171455Spot – Orlando,” “Most Booked,” and “Fit for Foodies” categories. To leverage the awards, Patina will begin promoting them on the restaurant’s social media channels to help drive additional reservations.

Morimoto Asia is Patina’s first collaboration with Chef Masaharu Morimoto and is the Japanese master chef’s first pan-Asian restaurant. Delaware North partnered with Morimoto to open Skewers restaurant at Los Angeles International Airport in 2012.

Morimoto Asia features unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions such as Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot-tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action.
