Bridgestone Arena set to host Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup Final

Saturday will be one for the history books at Bridgestone Arena, where the NHL’s Nashville Predators will play host for the first time to a Stanley Cup Final matchup.

Delaware North Sportservice, a food, beverage and retail partner at Bridgestone Arena since it opened in 1996, is ready to play its part in the historic contest.

“This has been an incredible year — both for the Predators on the ice and for our teams in food and beverage and retail,” said John DonVito, Delaware North Sportservice’s general manager at Bridgestone Arena. “There has been great energy in the building and throughout the city, and we couldn’t be more proud to play a role in the excitement.”

Part of the Delaware North-generated excitement is the addition of burgers for the postseason that feature player-suggested toppings. Among the new burgers — named after the player — are the Mike Fisher (avocado, fresh pico and cilantro crème), PK Subban (marinated tomato and Vidalia onion), Ryan Johansen (caramelized onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese) and Ryan Ellis (fried egg and bacon).

The team’s retail store, of course, has been buzzing with activity, thanks to the addition of postseason merchandise and apparel.

The Predators also host Game 4 on June 5, and if necessary, Game 6 will take place in Nashville on June 11.
