Two new restaurants open at Charleston airport

Charleston International Airport is now home to two new Delaware North-operated dining options.

Burger King opened on July 16, followed today by Caviar & Bananas. Both restaurants are located post-security.

“Passengers now have some exciting new dining options, and this will be the best of two worlds,” said Greg caviar_bananas_3601-2194074Leonard, Delaware North’s general manager at the airport. “We have a well-known national brand in Burger King, and we have one of Charleston’s finest dining establishments in Caviar & Bananas.”

The two restaurants will join other Delaware North-operated eateries at the airport, including DeSano Pizza Bakery, which opened in 2015, as well as the Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Grill, Harvest & Grounds kiosk and Charleston Beer Works – all of which are all slated to open this fall.

“Delaware North has done a great job of ensuring that our passengers have had dining choices during our construction while they worked tirelessly to bring these new brands to the renovated airport,” said Paul Campbell, executive director and CEO of Charleston County Aviation Authority.
