    “Little” Astronaut Experiences the Greatest Space Adventure on Earth

    There’s nothing quite like exploring the world through the eyes of a 4-year-old. That’s what inspired photographer and father Aaron Sheldon to start Small Steps are Giant Leaps, capturing his son Harrison experiencing the everyday world, dressed in an astronaut suit. That same spirit of exploration is brought to life at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where Harrison was invited to have a special space experience.

    Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announces The Boeing Company as Title Sponsor for Heroes & Legends, featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®

    Therrin Protze, chief operating officer of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, today announced The Boeing Company as the title sponsor of the upcoming attraction Heroes & Legends, featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. The news marks the first time in more than 50 years that the visitor complex has entered into an agreement with a corporate sponsor.

    Calling the Next Generation of Space Explorers! New Interactive Gameplay Experience – Cosmic Quest – Launches at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

    Exciting space adventures are now a reality at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Its newest visitor experience –Cosmic Quest– an interactive live-action game experience, designed by Creative Kingdoms, engages and inspires young guests known as “trainees” like never before by immersing them in a number of STEM-based (science, technology, engineering and math) space adventures while teaching them about NASA’s current and future space science and exploration endeavors.
